About Baxter so il

Meet Baxter, your perfect little companion with a big heart! At just one year old and 18 pounds, this Chihuahua is ready to sprinkle some love into your life. Baxter came to the rescue due to overcrowding at his previous shelter, and now he’s eagerly searching for his forever home. This affectionate boy thrives on companionship. Whether you're lounging at home or enjoying a quiet moment, Baxter is happiest by your side. He’s gentle, easygoing, and gets along well with everyone he meets, making him an uncomplicated addition to any household. Thankfully, he's not a yappy Chihuahua—Baxter has taken to his foster home with charm and grace, proving himself a solid little friend. Baxter does well in his kennel, making him a low-maintenance pal. A bit timid and submissive, he appreciates his personal space, so a calm environment will help him feel secure. We'd love to see him in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can respect his boundaries. As long as he has time to adjust, he’s been friendly with other dogs. He’s not asking for much—just a cozy home, a loving family, and someone who appreciates the sweet joy of having a little shadow by their side. In return, you’ll gain a gentle companion ready to shower you with affection. Could Baxter be your new best friend? Click apply to start the adoption process!
