About Torque
Torque is an energetic Sable German Shepherd, still in his adolescent phase at just one year old. Weighing in at 76 lbs, this big boy is full of energy and spirit. He found himself as an unclaimed stray, likely due to his exuberant attitude. Torque has a harmless osteoid on his left front leg, evaluated by multiple veterinarians who confirmed it's not cancerous and doesnโt cause him pain. It doesn't slow him down either. While heโs friendly, Torque is a handful and requires an experienced adopter familiar with strong working breeds. He does well with other dogs if they establish appropriate boundaries, but smaller pets or cats are not ideal unless kept completely separate from him. His play style can be rough, and he often needs guidance from his fosters during playtime. Torque responds positively to training and enjoys playing with toys as rewards more than treats. He is already crate trained and has made strides in impulse control and basic manners. He will thrive with continued training and structure in his new home. Only apply if you're committed to helping him grow into his best self!
