About Naomi
Naomi is an 8-year-old German Shepherd ready to embrace the next phase of her life. When she came to the shelter in late May, she faced significant challenges, including severe skin issues and a weight of just 64 pounds. With dedicated medical care, including treatment for Lyme disease and Ehrlichia, she has made remarkable progress and now weighs a healthier 78 pounds, with her beautiful coat growing back. This affectionate girl thrives on companionship and enjoys her walks. Naomi keeps her kennel tidy and has shown positive interactions during dog meet-and-greets, although an introduction to resident dogs is essential. She will be spayed on July 24 and is expected to be ready for approved applicants post-recovery. Naomi is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives. Ready to welcome a loving companion into your home? Apply today!
