About Gary

Meet Gary, a resilient and affectionate boy ready for his forever home. This sweet cat, approximately 3 years old, has been through a lot but still shows a remarkable spirit. Gary loves cheek scratches and enjoys rubbing against people for attention. His journey to safety has not been easy; he was brutally attacked in Waterbury, CT, leading to four surgeries, including the amputation of his tail. Yet, through it all, his loving nature remained. Even while recovering, Gary's affectionate personality shone, endearing himself to the veterinary staff. Now in foster care, Gary is thriving! He may have a slight limp, but that doesn’t stop him from jumping, playing, and zooming around — even climbing to the top of a six-foot cat tree! He gets along well with other cats and has also done well with a small dog. Gary is fully vetted, house trained, and ready for the love he deserves. Could you be the one to give him that? Start your journey to bring Gary home today!
