About Brody
Meet Brody, an engaging five-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix residing in a foster home in Houston, Texas. He’s ready to find his forever family and transport out of state once approved. Brody perfectly balances playful energy with a laid-back attitude. Whether he’s bounding around for outdoor fun or sinking into the couch for a Netflix binge, he embodies the lovable goofball spirit. He absolutely adores dressing up for holidays and events, as long as he’s enjoying the company of his family. Brody gets along best with friendly, relaxed female dogs and can be a bit overwhelming for smaller or timid pups. However, he also thrives as a solo pet, enjoying zoomies in a secure yard. He’s great with people and has been good with children he’s encountered, but we recommend kids aged 8-10+ who understand dog interactions. Brody does not get along with cats, as he’s unsure of how to share space with them. On a leash, Brody is a gentleman, walking calmly with loose leash manners. He’s housebroken and crate trained, enjoying his crate time and plush toys, which he loves to give a good chomping. Smart and eager to please, Brody is food-motivated and has thrived on the structure and training he's received in foster care. He’s looking for a loving home that appreciates his intelligence and desire for interaction, whether it’s through walks, light adventures, or engaging activities like scent work. At the end of the day, all Brody wants is a cozy bed, a few toys, and a family to call his own. He’s made incredible progress in foster care and is eager to start his next chapter with someone who recognizes his special qualities. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
