About Brody
Meet Brody, a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix ready to find his forever home. Currently residing in Houston, Texas, Brody balances playful energy with a calm demeanor, making him perfect for outdoor adventures or lazy days on the couch. He loves to chase toys in the yard and enjoy cuddle sessions while flashing his signature tongue-out smile. This lovable goofball prefers friendly, laid-back female companions, but he's also content being the only dog if given enough space to stretch his legs. He would thrive in a secure backyard where he can safely enjoy off-leash playtime. Brody is great with older, dog-savvy kids (ages 8-10+) who can interact respectfully, but it's best to avoid cat homes since he doesn't quite understand feline friendship. Brody walks calmly on a leash, is fully housebroken and crate trained, which he's adapting well to in his foster home. Eager to please and smart, he benefits from structure and positive reinforcement, especially around assertive male dogs. An experienced adopter familiar with working breeds would be ideal for him. All Brody wants is a soft bed, some toys, and a loving family to share his life with. He has made incredible progress in foster care and is ready for his next chapter. If you think you can give Brody the loving home he deserves, start the adoption process today!
