About Gunny

Gunny may be small, but he has a personality that makes him feel larger than life. With a confident strut and a chest puffed out, he moves through his day like a little protector who takes his role seriously. Always close by, he follows his favorite people around, turning into an adorable four-legged shadow. This little guy is deaf, but that doesn't hinder his adventures. He’s an independent explorer who enjoys discovering new places and loves walks along scenic paths. Gunny is leash-trained and potty-trained, making him an ideal companion for those who want a sidekick on the go. While he might not be a big cuddler, he does appreciate a good belly rub and can be coaxed into grooming with some tasty treats. In cooler weather, he’ll happily snuggle into a sweater. Gunny has been great with older kids and adults, both men and women, and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. However, he does have a strong chase instinct, especially with cats, so a cat-free environment is best for him. Rabbits, chickens, and squirrels, however, are no problem! Gunny seeks a home that values his loyalty and big personality. If you're looking for a small dog with a huge heart to share laughs and adventures, Gunny is the one. Ready to adopt in the Houston, TX area, he’s all set to make your small-dog dreams come true! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
