About Tommy

Meet Tommy! This affectionate approximately seven-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat is located in San Diego, CA, and his silver-gray tabby coat is as charming as his personality. Weighing in at 13 pounds, Tommy is a gentle, social fellow who believes everyone is a potential friend. He loves to greet visitors by rubbing against their legs and will often settle right at your feet, ready for some attention. Whether he's curled up in your lap or relaxing beside you, Tommy enjoys close company. He's a quiet gentleman, meowing very little except when being picked up. When not spreading affection, you can find him enjoying the view from a window, watching birds and squirrels. His interactive owl toy brings out his playful side, making him flutter with excitement! Tommy does have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and asthma, requiring him to take oral Prednisolone twice a day. Fortunately, he’s great at his routine and associates his medication with tasty Greenies and Temptations treats. He’s had just one asthma episode in the last year, showing he's managing well. This sweet boy is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He follows a special urinary-care diet to help prevent crystals and his caregiver is willing to contribute monthly toward his ongoing care. Tommy will thrive in a calm home with an experienced cat parent who can manage his medical needs. While his compatibility with children, dogs, or other cats is uncertain, a loving environment with daily playtime and lots of snuggles will surely make him happy. Are you ready to welcome this charming cuddlebug into your life?
