About Madam

Meet Madam, an affectionate eleven-year-old Domestic Short Hair residing in Amherst, MA. She embodies pure companionship with her sleek black coat and delightful chatty personality. At 12 pounds, Madam is a large, loving girl who believes life is better with her favorite humans close by. Picture a cat who greets you at the door, curls up beside you for cozy snuggles, and engages you with her vocal commentary. She's like a dog in a cat's body, always ready to share her opinions and enthusiasm. Madam loves attention and would thrive in a home where someone is around regularly, ideally a senior or family who enjoys having a devoted lap cat nearby. While she prefers to be the only cat, she has no issues with children of all ages, having been gentle with everyone she's met. Strangers don’t faze her either; they are just more friends to meet! While she has diabetes, it is well-managed with a daily pill in her soft food. Her recent check-up showed her medication is effective, and her vaccinations are up to date. Madam is spayed and microchipped. Due to some weakness in her hind legs, she takes her time with stairs and would appreciate having her essentials nearby. Madam is ready to fill her new home with cuddles, playful pursuits, and loyal companionship. She comes with her food, automatic feeder, water fountain, litter box, and toys to ease her transition.
