About Prince

Meet Prince, a 3-year-old mini-Australian Shepherd weighing about 23 lbs. He’s housebroken but has a fear of crates due to past experiences. Currently in foster care, he's working with a trainer to overcome this anxiety, which will require a patient and consistent approach from his future owner. With time, Prince will be a loyal companion, sometimes referred to as a "velcro dog". Prince loves playing fetch, splashing around with water hoses, and zooming around the backyard. He enjoys car rides and quiet moments with his human. Although he's playful and affectionate, Prince is also shy and would thrive with someone who understands his needs. He’s comfortable with small dogs but might take time to warm up to bigger dogs and small children. He’s alert, letting you know when visitors arrive, but calms down when instructed. Prince would benefit from at least two short walks a day and needs a fenced backyard for play. All he needs is a loving home willing to embrace his gentle nature. What are you waiting for?
