Walter is a lovely senior male Poodle mix. He is small and has a curly coat that is primarily white and cream with gray tones. House trained and recently updated on vaccinations, Walter is ready for a nurturing home. Although his age makes him timid in new environments, he gets along well with other pets and children.

About Walter

Meet Walter! This 14-year-old male Poodle mix is eager to find a loving forever home after being surrendered by his family. Walter needs a special and patient environment where he can adjust to the changes in his life, especially after experiencing neglect and isolation in recent years. He wasn’t given the attention he needed, which affected his ability to hold his potty, and his nails were not cared for. Since coming into our care, Walter has received updated vaccinations and bloodwork and is ready to start a new journey. Despite his timid nature, especially around thunderstorms and fireworks, Walter is a sweet, cuddly lap dog who loves to greet people with a happy little wiggle-butt. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, and is already housebroken and crate trained. Given time to settle in and learn a new routine, his affectionate personality will surely shine through. This senior dog deserves a comfortable retirement filled with love and companionship.
