About Lucy Goose
Lucy Goose is a delightful little girl who has overcome a tough start. Found alone by a Good Samaritan, she was discovered with an injured tail, likely cut off before she was rescued. Thankfully, with the care of our vet partners, she’s healed up nicely and is now full of life. At about 10 weeks old, Lucy is a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Beagle, expected to weigh around 20-30 pounds when fully grown. This energetic pup is currently in her playful puppy stage, so a family ready to commit to potty and basic obedience training is essential. Keep in mind, her sharp puppy teeth might not be suitable for homes with small children. Lucy loves to romp around, so having a backyard for playtime would be fantastic. She thrives with other young dogs and would appreciate a playmate. Though her foster uses a playpen, crate training will be beneficial as she grows. After days of crying alone, she snuggles up with her big lamb chop stuffed toy, which she views as her comfort. Lucy has received her first round of vaccines and is on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Magnolia Animal Rescue covers her remaining vaccines and will spay her at 6 months. If you’re interested in adding this spirited girl to your family, please share your living situation and why you feel you’d be a good match. Don't forget to include your phone number for follow-up.
