About Alderaan

Meet Alderaan, our charming 3-year-old deaf Labrador! Alderaan is affectionately dubbed "derpy" by his foster family, a fitting title for this playful, clumsy canine. His goofy antics, from miscalculating his jumps to rolling exuberantly on the couch, keep everyone smiling. With a personality that's equal parts curious and silly, he truly embodies the playful spirit of a Lab. Alderaan is progressing well in crate and house training in his foster home. He's picking up on leash manners and is great with children and other dogs. Although he's deaf, he's learning hand signals swiftly, and it’ll be helpful for his family to reinforce his focus and engagement. Despite his playful nature, Alderaan shows a gentle side that endears him further. He loves toys, especially balls and bones, and is eager to engage with both dogs and people alike. Alderaan's initial years taught him little about boundaries, but he’s a smart boy, adapting quickly to training and expectations.
