About Toast

Meet Toast! Toast is a delightful 3-year-old dachshund mix with a charming face and a lovable personality. He arrived at the rescue after being surrendered from a rural shelter in Indiana. Toast has a beautiful double dapple coat and, though he was born like this, he doesn't seem to experience any visual or hearing issues. He can be a little shy around new people and environments, so he’ll benefit from a patient adopter who can let him adjust at his own pace. Once fully comfortable, Toast transforms into a joyful companion, full of energy and happiness. He loves playing outside and enjoys the company of his dog friends. Currently, he's on his journey to being fully housetrained but is making good progress with crate training. Toast is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and heartworm negative, ensuring he’s ready for a loving home. His adoption fee is $400. Let Toast warm your heart—apply to adopt him today!
