About Nina
Nina is an extra-large beauty with an even bigger heart. This gentle girl exudes calmness and affection, winning over our volunteers with her easygoing nature. Even during her recovery from foot surgery, Nina displayed remarkable patience, allowing for frequent bandage changes without any fuss. Her journey has seen some unexpected turns. Adopted as a puppy in Atlanta, Nina was deeply cherished and known for being wonderful with kids. However, as life progressed, she moved between homes. Each family spoke kindly of her, but sadly her path led her to Texas, where she was abandoned in a kennel by the road. Nina is a dog that forms strong bonds and loves deeply, yet she can be apprehensive around strangers. Because of this, new introductions should be approached slowly to make her feel safe. With time and understanding, she truly shines. Ideally, Nina would be happiest as the only dog, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves. She has a fondness for water—imagine a home with a pool as her dream! Nina is ready for a stable home, preferably with experienced dog owners who can provide the reassurance she needs. After all she's been through, Nina is ready to finally write her happy ending—with you. Est. DOB: 3/9/19. 80.3 lbs. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
