About Creed
Creed, formerly known as Duke, is a 1-year, 8-month-old male mixed breed dog with a brindle coat and a short hair. This young Pit Bull Terrier mix has had a challenging past, but he is now ready for a new beginning. Creed spent his early months on the streets, struggling to survive under dire conditions, which led to significant anxiety. Unfortunately, his first adoptive home could not provide the structure and training he needed to thrive. Although they loved him, Creed never found the peace he desperately sought. After a difficult year in that environment, Creed was returned to our care to properly address his needs. Thankfully, he is now in the hands of a dedicated trainer who specializes in behavioral rehabilitation. In a short time, Creed has made remarkable progress; he is fully leash trained, potty trained, and no longer shows aggression towards people or other animals. He has learned basic obedience commands and is even learning more advanced skills. It's critical that Creed goes to an understanding home that recognizes his history and is committed to continuing his training. His ideal adopter should be familiar with handling insecure dogs and appreciate the importance of creating a stable and supportive environment. Creed deserves a loving forever home where he can truly thrive. If you think you can provide that environment, please reach out to us for more information.
