About Royal

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Royal is a 4.5-year-old female pit bull terrier mix searching for her forever family. After being adopted from a Houston-area shelter, Royal sadly ended up wandering the streets, underweight and malnourished. Multiple attempts to reconnect her with her previous owners were unsuccessful, so she found her way to rescue and is now hoping for a true forever home. Royal is embracing her second chance at life and is thriving in her foster home. Her past is uncertain, but her sweet nature with people shines through—she loves meeting everyone and is always ready to make new friends. Since she is still adjusting, introductions with other dogs are carried out slowly and calmly. Although currently living with other dogs, her interactions have been kept minimal to help her settle in safely. Royal is healthy, house trained, and does well in her kennel, though she’d much rather be out spending time with her favorite people. If you are ready to offer her a safe, loving home, she’s eagerly waiting to meet you. Fun fact: Royal was born on April 18, which makes her an adventurous Aries and explains her bold, loving spirit!
