About Poppy

Poppy is as sweet as the flower she’s named after. This little girl has a gentle and playful personality that flourishes in a safe environment filled with love and patience. Initially shy, Poppy takes her time to assess new situations before diving in, but she's steadily gaining confidence each day. Her foster mom affectionately calls her 'Birdie,' reminiscent of her timid arrival, but Poppy is beginning to discover the joys of being a kitten. She enjoys playtime and would thrive with a friendly feline companion to guide her. Another playful kitty can help her feel brave and encourage her to explore her surroundings. Poppy is also getting accustomed to the dogs in her foster home, learning that they aren't as intimidating as she once thought. Her ideal forever home should be calm and patient, accommodating her unique needs. Poppy might not rush to greet you, but watching her learn to trust is a heartwarming experience. With the right family and a playful buddy by her side, Poppy is bound to blossom into the wonderful cat she is meant to be. She is currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN and available for transport to many locations within the continental U.S. However, we cannot adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time.
