Meet Cherry, a 1-year-old Beagle weighing 25 lbs. This sweet girl is looking for her forever home and is eager to join her new family. Cherry thrives on love and attention, often seeking out belly rubs and cuddle time. She enjoys snuggling up at night, always ready to be by your side. While she has a gentle spirit, she’s a bit shy around large dogs and may bark at them. Small dogs and puppies, however, bring out her sweet nature. Cherry is on a journey of learning and growth. She’s currently getting comfortable with being left alone and has had a few accidents while mastering the potty training process. With her intelligence, she picked up how to “Sit” in just one day! Daily exercise is essential for her, as she needs about 60-90 minutes of activity plus mental stimulation. Cherry does well with children but needs supervision and patience when adjusting to newcomers. Her ideal home would be one without cats, as she is frightened by them. Cherry is currently part of our foster-to-adopt program, offering her hopeful future family a chance to bring her home and help her flourish.
