About Maggie
Meet Maggie! Maggie is a charming 1.5-year-old, 47-pound Catahoula mix radiating sweetness and a playful spirit. She may start off a bit timid when meeting new people, but once she feels at ease, her affectionate side shines. Maggie is a delightful balance of laid-back and playful. She loves the company of other dogs, happily playing with them while also relishing cozy nap times beside her favorite humans. Her medium-energy personality makes her a perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle followed by relaxation at home. Maggie is not only a cuddler; she walks beautifully on a leash and is both potty and crate trained, making her an ideal match for family life. Although Maggie is heartworm positive, she has successfully received treatment. She hasn't been around children or cats yet, so it’s still a mystery how she'd react, but we believe she could do well with older, respectful kids who understand her need for space. Maggie is ready to join a loving family where she can take her time settling in and reveal her true personality. She would thrive in a home where gentle playtime is followed by lots of affectionate cuddling. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
