What to say about Charlie. He's the goodest boy! He really is wonderful,. He loves running around outside, but loves being in your business more. He was found on a ranch road in Hondo, Tx. The second the truck door opened, he leapt in, flopped down, went boneless, and refused to be put out. I have been caring form him for 4 months and I've learned a thing or two. He needs either, a big back yard to run his little rambunctious heart out, or an active person to take him running, hiking, fishing, general mayhem making, or better yet, all of the above. Charlie really likes being the center of attention. He is willing to share, but he wants you to know he prefers to be the one in your lap. He is too smart for his own good. He has, on a number of occasions, outwitted the humans with his criminal's mind. Charlie is crate trained. He likes to eat in there and spend quiet time in there. He sleeps in his crate, and absolutely must be crated when you leave the house. If you don't, it will not be the same home as when you left. Definitely don't turn your back on him while cooking in the kitchen, he has been known to steal food from the counter. He's not subtle about it so he's easy to stop. Charlie does well with other dogs, and doesn't seem bothered by cats. He was in a house with 3 dogs, and 1 cat. He has been neutered, and received all of his vaccinations from the vet. He is the perfect specimen. According to the vet, he is around 2 years old and is a Catahoula Leopard with maybe a little pit. He is about 30 lbs, but we are working on him gaining some weight.
