Meet Maddy! Maddy is a lovely 6-month-old Shihpoo whose young life has already seen more changes than most puppies should face. Originally, she was passed from her first owners to another family unable to provide proper care, leading her to Juno's Den. Right now, Maddy is small and a bit frightened, understandably unsure of her surroundings. She may show protective behavior when feeling insecure, but with some patience, she warms up quickly as she starts to trust. Maddy is eager to learn and has immense potential. With consistent guidance and support, we believe she can flourish. We're searching for a foster-to-adopt home where Maddy can feel safe and gradually embrace life. Her ideal family would be active, patient, and ready to help her grow into a confident companion. We prefer that she be the only dog in a home with adults or teenagers, rather than young children. Maddy isn’t looking for perfection; she needs understanding as she navigates her fears and builds trust.
