About Gidget

Meet Gidget, the gentle Red Heeler who's ready to be your loyal companion. With a charming reddish-brown coat and a heart-melting smile, Gidget just wants to be by your side. She was found wandering in the Texas heat, but despite efforts to find her owner, she's now in search of a loving forever home. At around 4 years old and 40 lbs, Gidget is surprisingly laid-back for a Heeler. She enjoys daily walks, some outdoor exploration, and loves to stay close to her humans. Fully house trained, you’ll often find her quietly lounging while you work from home. Gidget has a sweet and affectionate nature. She loves cuddles and playing with her toys. She's spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is on heartworm treatment, with the next round due in February. She’s also excellent on a leash, staying close by your side without barking at others. Gidget is best suited to be the only pet in the home; she does not get along with dogs or cats. Her history with children is unknown, so structured introductions or an adult-only space would be ideal. Gidget is ready to bring joy to a new family! Don't hesitate to reach out with questions or to schedule a meet and greet with her.
