About Cruiser Burt
Meet Cruiser Burt! His foster family named him after the black-and-whites that helped save his life, and now he's thriving with two fur siblings and a small human. Cruiser is learning the ropes of puppyhood, including potty training, dog manners, and the important lesson that not every dog is keen to become best friends. This clever pup figured out that going potty outside earns him treats in less than 24 hours. He's already learned to sit for snacks and is mastering the concept of sitting on command—without the promise of food. Foster mom might as well be his shadow because this little guy follows her everywhere. Despite his puppy energy, Cruiser is crate trained and sleeps peacefully at night or when his family leaves. He’s entertaining, full of fun, and absolutely loves to cuddle. Each of our dogs is spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on preventive care. To meet Cruiser, you’ll need to complete an approved application. We don't have a shelter location, so meetings are arranged only with approved applications. Additionally, we conduct home visits for every dog we adopt out, so we focus on homes within a two-hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you're outside that area, we recommend connecting with a local rescue or shelter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
