About Thea
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Most people do a double take when they see Thea. She is bursting with energy and adores going on walks or chasing after a Frisbee or ball. Despite having just one back leg, she is truly spring loaded and nothing slows her down. Thea is overflowing with affection, gladly giving kisses and resting her head on your shoulder for a hug. Sheโs house trained and has completed basic obedience training, knowing commands like heel, sit, down, stay, place, and even a playful bang (where she rolls to her side). Eager to work for treats, she is both attentive and enthusiastic. If you think Thea could be the perfect match for you, remember that all dogs from this rescue are spayed or neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and tested/maintained on heartworm prevention if over six months old. Please note, a completed and approved application is required to meet any dog from this rescue, and a home visit is part of the process. Adopters must be within a 2-hour radius of Dayton, OH. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
