Loyal and affectionate, he’s the biggest cuddlebug you could imagine, preferring to stay close to his favorite people. Carl gets along well with dogs of all sizes, both male and female, but definitely has a soft spot for the ladies. With male dogs, he can be a bit competitive and may play rough, so thoughtful introductions are key. He’s much more of a gentleman with females. Given his strong personality and play style, Carl is best suited for households with kids 12 and older, and he does not get along with cats. Carl needs a calm home where he can relax, enjoy long daily walks, and spend time with you. He’s kennel-trained, potty-trained, and well-mannered, though he’ll remind you that working on your laptop isn’t the same as giving him attention.
