At about five years old and weighing around 40 pounds, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Blossom has a sweet nature and gets along wonderfully with everyone, including other dogs; her cat compatibility is still to be determined, but her gentle demeanor suggests she'll adjust well. After being abandoned by a breeder who discarded her when she could no longer produce puppies, she faced years of neglect that left her underweight with dental and skin issues. Thanks to Luvable Dog Rescue, Blossom received emergency care, including hernia repair and dental work, which has improved her overall health. While she has challenges due to her short legs, she embraces life with a positive attitude, often hopping with joy. Blossom will need a patient adopter to help her with house training, and a single-level home with ramps is essential since she can't manage stairs. A physically fit human is ideal to accommodate her mobility needs and her adventurous spirit. Although we recommend a home without small children, she could thrive with a calm, social companion dog.
