About Flor

Meet Flor, a delightful 65-lb female Rottweiler with a big heart and an even bigger love for playtime. At around 6-7 years old, Flor's journey hasn't been easy. She was rescued from a canal ditch in Mexico and has worked hard to regain her strength. With the help of amazing humans at The Cantu Foundation, she's now fueled by happiness and ready for a new chapter in life. Flor is fully house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She's independent but loves attention. During the day, she’ll entertain herself but will eagerly engage in play when you're home. Her favorite activities include chasing tennis balls, splashing in water, and cozying up for head scratches. While she would benefit from a yard to explore, she's also adaptable enough for indoor play as long as someone throws her a ball or toy. This sweet girl enjoys the company of bigger kids and prefers homes where she's the star, though she may coexist with more submissive or smaller dogs. Flor does have some healing to do in her back legs, so a home with fewer stairs would be ideal. Her adoption fee is $300, which covers her vaccinations, spay, and microchip. Ready to bring joy and loyalty into your life? Flor might just be the companion you’ve been waiting for.
