About Katrina
Katrina is truly a striking dog with her captivating grey-blue eyes and beautiful brindle coat. At 60 pounds, this young adult Plott Hound mix has long legs that only add to her charm. But there’s more to Katrina than just her looks. She has a gentle and sensitive nature, often taking her time to warm up to new people and environments. This timid girl prefers to observe from a distance before she feels safe enough to join in. She’ll thrive in a calm home with someone patient who understands that building trust takes time. Once she settles in and feels secure, Katrina blossoms into a sweet companion. She enjoys the company of her big-dog foster siblings and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She walks nicely on a leash and shows signs of being potty trained, given a consistent schedule. Although she may not enjoy being crated, she sleeps through the night and is proving to be an adaptable housemate. Katrina would thrive with a supportive owner who can help her build confidence and learn that the world can be a safe place. She may take time to show her true self, but the bond you develop will be incredibly rewarding. If you appreciate sensitive pups and can offer Katrina the love and time she needs, she may just become your loyal best friend. Just look into those enchanting eyes and see what’s possible.
