About Sully

Sully is currently in Martinez, CA, ready for a loving home. At just 1.5 years old, this spirited Chocolate Labrador Mix weighs 52 pounds and brings joy to everyone he meets. After being rescued from the streets of Houston, where he was cared for by a kind-hearted woman, he now embraces the comforts of home and family life. With his playful nature, Sully loves to engage with both people and other dogs, often greeting them with an enthusiastic bark that reflects his joyful spirit. He's shown great social skills at doggy daycare and has learned the importance of respecting boundaries, marking his growth. Sully has settled nicely into his foster home, discovering the joy of toys, couches, and snuggles. He enjoys moderate exercise, including walks and playtime, but knows how to unwind afterward. He’s been doing well with house and crate training, having no accidents in his current setting. Sully is affectionate and has a soft spot for calm cuddle sessions, making him a loving addition to any active family. While he loves to play, he would thrive best with older, dog-savvy children who can appreciate his exuberance. Although he hasn't lived with cats, he shows little interest in them, but caution is advised in a home with felines. If you're on the lookout for an adventure buddy that appreciates both playtime and cozy couch moments, Sully may just be the perfect match! Ready to adopt and give Sully the forever home he deserves?
