Meet Gustavo, a tiny 10-month-old pup weighing in at just 7.7 pounds. This little guy has seen more than any puppy should. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in Puerto Rico, where he often had to hide under a bed to escape larger dogs. Now, he’s slowly learning that the world can be a safe place. Despite his rough past, Gustavo shows no signs of aggression. He’s just a little shy, needing patience and understanding to build his confidence. After two weeks in rescue, his personality is starting to shine through. We're looking for a gentle and kind adopter—someone willing to let Gustavo take his time to adjust and show his true, loving self. The right home will provide the comfort he so desperately needs, where he’ll never have to hide again. Gustavo can fly to an airport near his new family once adopted.
