About Chunk
Chunk is a lively Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who embodies joy and energy. At 1 year and 9 months, this 62 lbs bundle of muscle is not just about looks; he has a heart full of enthusiasm. Chunk thrives on attention and can't get enough of those gentle butt rubs. His playful nature promises a life full of fun and adventure. Completely house-trained, Chunk maintains a clean kennel and is a pleasure to care for. While he enjoys his walks, his strength and excitement mean he can get a bit jumpy, so he’d benefit from some training to help keep all four paws on the ground when greeting people. If there’s another dog in your home, arrange a meet-and-greet to see if the two get along. Given his spirited personality, a home with older children would be ideal. Chunk's journey began on a sweltering summer day when he was rescued from a hot car. Since then, he’s thrived in the shelter, not facing any health concerns. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. This charismatic dog is ready to bring joy to your life and only needs a loving home to start his next chapter. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
