About Maple
Meet Maple! ๐ Maple is a lovely 5-6 month old puppy who has overcome some tough times in her young life. Rescued from the streets of Compton along with her siblings, she was initially terrified of people, having had to be humanely trapped. Thankfully, she's learned that food and playtime can change everything. Treats have played a huge role in warming her up to new experiences and teaching her that people can be wonderful. While she can still be a bit nervous in new situations, her foster family is helping her get comfortable wearing a leash and being petted. With patience and encouragement, Maple is making strides. She is especially affectionate with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion to continue building her confidence. Remarkably, she taught herself to sit in just a few minutes, highlighting her intelligence. Maple is a mix of Shepherd and Husky, and sheโs going to grow into a stunning dog. Her ideal family will provide the support, time, and positive reinforcement she needs. While sheโs not rushing to meet strangers just yet, sheโs learning that kindness and snacks can make the world feel less scary. If you have a loving home and a furry friend to bond with Maple, she might be the perfect fit for you! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
