About Strawberry Shortstack
Strawberry Shortstack, affectionately called Shorty, is currently in foster care in Memphis, TN, and she will be transported to Maryland once adopted. At around 3 to 4 years old and weighing in at just 16 pounds, this Corgi and Terrier mix is searching for her perfect forever home. Shorty loves the company of another dog of a similar size and enjoys cuddling in her human’s lap—though she's a bit selective about who she trusts. Car rides are a favorite, and she enjoys leash walks, even if she barks at other dogs along the way. However, she isn’t fond of chaotic environments, dog parks, children, or rodents. For the best connection, she prefers a slow introduction and can be enticed by treats. Her ideal home has a securely fenced yard, possibly with resident squirrels, and another friendly dog to keep her company. Shorty requires adopters with an excellent record of veterinary care, and applicants with experience in similar breeds will be prioritized. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Don’t wait too long to make a friend for life—apply to adopt her today!
