Ready for adoption on November 15, Alfie is as social, vocal, and energetic as you’d expect from a Husky mix. This breed requires an active lifestyle, so Alfie will need a home with plenty of playtime and exercise. Adoption has specific requirements. Adopters must pick up Alfie in person from Virginia Beach, VA, or Severn, MD, as transport is not an option. Another dog in the home is essential for his ongoing socialization, and please note that he won't thrive in a home where only senior dogs exist. Part of the adoption process includes a spay/neuter requirement to be completed by six months of age. Alfie is a high-energy boy needing supervision and should not be left alone for more than two hours at a time. If you have cats, please ensure a solid separation plan, as we cannot guarantee cat-friendly behavior. Due to his vocal nature, he may not be suited for apartment living.
