AvailableAbout Pedro
Pedro is a gentle, semi-shy, and incredibly sweet five-year-old Siberian Husky who’s been through more than most dogs ever should. Rescued from the euthanasia list in Georgia with his family, Pedro has spent most of his life in tough backyard breeder and shelter environments. Unlike his outgoing companion Zoe, Pedro has a soft, tender nature and trusts slowly, but once you earn it, he leans in for hugs and quiet moments. At 80 lbs, he’s a true gentle giant—tall, but never boisterous. Pedro will need a 6-foot fenced yard, and a patient adopter ready to give him the calm routine he deserves. Pedro fits best in a calm home without small, loud children or small animals. He prefers people over dogs, so he’d love a place where he gets to be the main focus, though he does fine with other calm dogs. Pedro enjoys being a quiet companion and will join you for relaxed adventures rather than chaos. He thrives on affection and gives the best hugs around. Pedro is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He’s currently fostered in North Carolina but is available for adoption throughout the eastern U.S., with transport available if needed. Click apply to start the adoption process.
