About Izzie

Meet Izzie! This three-year-old gal has a playful personality and an adventurous spirit. She enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors, and she's even made friends with cats and chickens! As an active girl, she thrives on exercise and mental stimulation. Izzie is super loving with people; cuddling and hanging out are some of her favorite pastimes. Though she might need a moment to warm up, once she does, sheโ€™ll become your loyal companion. Great with kids, Izzie might be a better fit for families with older children because of her size. She knows basic commands, and her foster family is helping her refine her leash manners. An intelligent dog, she would thrive with ongoing, patient training. Izzie is house-trained and behaves well indoors. Sheโ€™s comfortable being left alone but does best with calm introductions to larger or overly excited dogs, as they can intimidate her. Having come into IAR's care after her owner passed away, Izzie is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccinations. Could Izzie be the loyal friend youโ€™ve been looking for?
