About Bear
Meet Bear, an 11-month-old mixed-breed dog with striking Border Collie markings. He’s got some larger breed traits that suggest he'll grow into a dog about the size of a Golden Retriever. Bear is currently in foster care in Chocowinity, NC, where he’s getting accustomed to the comforts of a home after his shelter stay. Bear might be shy at first, but a gentle scratch behind the ears wins him over. Once you do, you’ll find a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys the company of humans and other dogs. He loves to go for walks and is always up for some playtime, making him a cheerful addition to any active household. Bear needs plenty of space to roam and play, so a home that can accommodate his energetic nature is ideal. His foster family believes a playful canine buddy and an active lifestyle would be perfect for him. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is expected to be available for adoption by the end of October. Thinking about bringing Bear into your life?
