About Maggie Courtesy Listing
Meet Maggie, a charming 2-year-old Border Collie currently looking for a new home in Richmond, VA. Having rescued her from an abusive past over a year ago, her foster has worked hard to help her come out of her shell. While Maggie can be reactive to new people and pets outside her safe environment, she thrives in familiar surroundings and shares her space with two dogs and several cats, including kittens with special needs. Maggie's personality shines; she’s house trained, leash trained, and loves to catch a ball mid-air. While she’s a playful clown at heart, potential adopters should note that she may not be the best fit for families with children under 12. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and has special prescriptions for stress-free vet visits. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a stable environment, Maggie could be a wonderful addition. A rehoming fee, home inspection, and vet reference are required. For more information about Maggie, please reach out via email or fill out an application through the Atlantic Region Central Border Collie Rescue. Your new best friend might just be waiting for you!
