Chloe has overcome significant challenges, including surviving distemper and two rattlesnake bites, but she hasn’t lost her affectionate spirit. Calm and a bit shy initially, Chloe warms up quickly and enjoys being close to her humans. She’s great on a leash, rides well in the car, and gets along with children. A calm environment would suit her best—she would thrive with adults or older children, and she prefers a female owner as she can be timid around men. Chloe is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained, making her a ready companion. However, she should be in a home without small dogs or cats, and she tends to be selective with other dogs.
