Meet Karl! This spirited 5-year-old neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier mix is eager to find his forever home. Karl has been a cherished member of his family since he was just 8 weeks old, and he comes fully housetrained and crate trained. While he enjoys a relaxing nap in his crate, he's no longer crated during the day and behaves well at home. In the past, Karl has shared his space with another large dog and he is generally good with smaller dogs, but his interactions with cats remain unknown. Karl loves playtime with adults and is fond of sunbathing in the yard. He enjoys fetching toys, even if he isn't always keen to bring the ball back. Water isn't his favorite; he prefers to observe from a distance. Although he’s friendly with all the adults in the house and visitors, Karl struggles with little ones and tends to guard his food and toys, which has led to him being kept separate from children. His family truly loves him and wants a better environment for him, prompting their decision to enlist The Peppermint Pig's help in finding a new home for Karl.
