About Karina

Karina is a delightful little Chihuahua mix, around 2 years old and 10 lbs. Once a cautious pup, she has really started to come out of her shell in foster care. Karina loves to be near her foster mom, happily sidling up on the couch and following her around the house. She even gets excited with a joyful dance when her foster mom returns home. This sweet girl is great with cats and is gaining confidence daily. She’s making impressive strides on leash and is learning to navigate walks around the yard and neighborhood. However, her agility means her future family should keep a secure hold on her leash when outside. Karina is working diligently on potty training and is learning quickly. Loud noises can still startle her, so a patient and understanding home will help her thrive. With time, she's bound to flourish and show even more of her affectionate nature.
