About Gunnar

Gunnar is an eight-year-old, small-boned Chihuahua who arrived alongside his two siblings after their owner passed. At the start, he was carrying a lot of extra weight, but with steady care and a healthier diet, he's nearly back to his ideal shape and actually has a waist again. Gunnar stands out with his tricolor coat and short fur, and his easygoing temperament fits well in a quieter, low-key home. He gets along well with other dogs and prefers the simple comfort of being near his people, favoring peaceful routines over chaos. Gunnar will do well in a condo or apartment and doesn’t require a big yard to be happy. After losing his family, he's ready to find a new home where his health will stay a priority and he can settle in as a loyal, calm presence. Meet-and-greets are by appointment for approved adopters. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
