About Ares

Meet Ares, a delightful 4.5-year-old English Bulldog ready to bring his charm to a new home. He arrived at CEBR due to owner surrender but has blossomed into a loving companion since overcoming his past medical issues. Ares is attentive and takes his eye drops like a champ! After breakfast, he patiently waits for his foster mom to help with his care, earning treats and cuddles right after. While his name suggests a warrior spirit, he loves peace—except during vacuum time, when he takes on the role of the brave protector! Ares enjoys the company of his foster dog brothers, knowing how to share space and playtime. He’s working on his social skills, especially with the playful pup in the house, and he’s learning to express his needs without being overly vocal. At night, he is a star! He sleeps soundly in his kennel, ready to cuddle with everyone in the morning. Car rides and walks are his favorites, and he’s learning to walk politely on a leash. While he sometimes gets bossy, especially at meal times, he responds well to positive training. Ares is making strides in house training and will benefit from a loving family willing to continue his progress. Active and playful, Ares would thrive with daily walks and games, and he would be thrilled to have a furry sibling to share his adventures with. This sweet boy is eager to find a home where he can continue to grow and be loved.
