Buddy is a 3-year-old English Bulldog with a big brindle heart and plenty of energy. He loves being near his people, whether that means hanging out in the same room or sneaking a lap cuddle when the mood strikes. Despite all his goofiness and wiggly excitement, Buddy knows how to settle in for the night, preferably in a comfy chair beside you. He’s reliably house trained and already has the basics down—"Sit," "Touch," and "Down" are all in his toolkit. Buddy does well with his harness and leash, but he won’t be your hiking buddy; he much prefers car rides and would make a fantastic road trip companion. Meeting new people can make him nervous, and he’ll let you know with some barking, especially at first hellos, but he’s been working with a trainer and keeps improving. Buddy will need someone understanding and patient, ready to help him continue his progress. Once he knows you’re in his corner, he’s all happy tail wags—even his back end gets in on the celebration.
