About Chillon

Meet Chillon, a strikingly handsome 5-year-old Lab/Pit mix with a playful spirit and the heart of a true companion. This 65-pound neutered male, currently located in Texas, possesses movie-star good looks with his shiny black coat and soulful amber eyes that just make you smile. He has a charming personality that makes him quite the character—prepare for some delightful antics! Chillon has transitioned beautifully after being rescued from a shelter and has shown his affectionate side. Initially shy, he warms up quickly in the presence of gentle humans. Once comfortable, he leans in for attention and flops over for those coveted belly rubs. His playful nature shines as he runs around with a goofy grin, yet he'll happily curl up next to you for a cozy nap. He loves to engage with other dogs, enjoying playtime without any signs of resource guarding. While he's not tested with cats, his friendly demeanor suggests he could find a place alongside them. He’d do best in a home with respectful kids aged 12 and up, as this will support his growing confidence. Chillon is house-trained and rides well in a car, making outings a breeze. Though he pulls on the leash a bit, he’s intelligent and ready to learn. Regular walks and activities will help him improve and feel more settled. He does experience some separation anxiety, so he thrives best in a home where someone is around for most of the day. This loyal companion is looking for a family that embraces an active lifestyle, filled with walks, adventures, and, of course, relaxation on a cozy couch afterward. Chillon is more than just a dog; he’s a connection waiting to happen, a warm cuddle ready to fill your home with love. Are you ready to see what life is like with Chillon? Apply today!
