About Lakota

Lakota is part of the Pumpkin Crew Pups, who are 12 weeks old and ready for forever homes. This little one is a mix of multiple breeds, with a primary focus on Chihuahua and Shih Tzu. Initially, Lakota was timid, often finding comfort in corners and displaying fear when approached. Thankfully, she quickly warmed up to her surroundings. Within days, she transformed into a playful, affectionate pup, eager for attention. Now, Lakota enjoys snuggling in arms, engaging in games, and often takes cozy naps with her siblings. She’s working on her potty training and sleeps well through the night. Because of her small size, it’s ideal for children in her new home to be at least 10 years old, ensuring they can be gentle and mindful around her. Lakota enjoys the company of both dogs and cats, making her a well-rounded companion who would thrive with a furry playmate. Adoption takes place through Rescue Row, where you can apply online. Remember, Lakota needs a loving home within an hour of the DFW Metroplex. She is ready to love and be loved. Click apply to start the adoption process.
