Meet Mittens and Bilbo, a loving bonded pair ready to find their forever home. These sweet cats are a courtesy post for Friends of our Frederick County Shelter, so if interested, please contact Rea at ffocasrea@gmail.com. Mittens and Bilbo are looking for a warm, secure environment where they can thrive together. After losing their beloved pet parent, they faced the uncertainty of being separated, but a friend stepped in to care for them. Now, they're eager for a new family to embrace them. Bilbo "Baggy" Baggins is an affectionate 8-year-old orange and white Domestic Short Hair. Weighing about 13 lbs, he’s playful and curious, enjoying high perches and fun with fishing pole toys. His gentle, loving nature shines when he purrs during belly rubs and cuddles on laps. Mittens, also 8 years young, is a calm Russian Blue male tipping the scales at around 20 lbs. He loves being near people and greets visitors with a friendly roll for pets. With his cool demeanor and playful spirit, he prefers a tranquil home where he can unwind. To help manage his mild separation anxiety, Mittens takes Reconcile easily in tasty treats, keeping him relaxed and happy. Both cats would do best if adopted together, as they cherish their time together. If you’re ready to provide a loving home for this wonderful pair, please reach out via email. They can’t wait to meet you!
