About Sadie
Meet Sadie! If you're looking for a playful, affectionate dog, she could be the perfect fit for you. Sadie's journey began when she and her siblings were found abandoned in a rural farm field, but this resilient young lady is ready to start a new chapter. At just 8 months old, Sadie has a heart of gold and immediately won over her foster. She adores cuddling, often causing her foster to joke about how she walked in planning to foster an older dog but left with this energetic puppy instead. Described as a mix of hound, boxer, and potentially a bit of pitbull, Sadie embodies a delightful mixture of agility and affection. Weighing around 40 lbs and sporting a beautiful brown coat, Sadie is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She loves playtime with toys—whether it’s chewing, tossing, or fetching, she’s in her element. Sadie is crate trained, housebroken, and enjoys her neighborhood walks, although she'll occasionally get distracted by noises. She’s learned to seek comfort in her crate at night, showing no aggression and responding well to positive reinforcement. While she gets along well with other dogs (currently sharing a home with an older pitbull mix), she may be too energetic for very young children; older kids or an adult-only home could be a better match. Her foster describes her as a wonderful dog who still needs training and guidance through her puppy years. If your home craves puppy energy, cuddles, and kisses, Sadie could be the one!
