About Rocky
Rocky is a brown and white Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a bit of a charismatic overbite—he’d tell you it’s perfect for kisses. He’s fully grown at about 55 to 60 lbs and wears his short coat like a low-maintenance badge. Picture an oversized puppy in an adult dog’s frame: Rocky greets every day with enthusiasm and every person with a wag. He connects quickly, winning friends with his easygoing energy and a clear preference for company, whether that’s humans or other dogs his size. Having lived with children, Rocky is wired for family life and really makes himself at home in lively, loving surroundings. Being at the shelter, Rocky’s waiting for people who want an outgoing, playful dog to join in their days and adventures. He isn’t house trained at the moment and he doesn’t get along with cats, but he shines in the company of people and fellow dogs, and he comes alive around kids. If you want a dog whose default is joy, Rocky’s your guy. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
